So I finally bought the new iPad Mini.

And I couldn't be happier. Having lost my iPod Touch (4th gen) and my iPhone 4, I guess either I was unlucky with Apple, or that number 4 is just 'suwey' (ominous). I'll stick to the latter. Being a 'gadget freak' that I am, my heart had been yearning for the Mini ever since it first came out; despite that, I tried to weight the pros and cons, and the opportunity cost of buying one. They say that the urge to buy ususlly dies out after some time; when mine didn't, I knew I just had to grab one. And so I did. And I couldn't be happier. Though mine is just the 16gb wifi version, I'm contented. Now I can definitely use this as my portable laptop-cum-hard disk-cum-iPod-cum-camera etc. Above all, I shall strive to get the side income to recover the sum I have spent. YES.

Yeah so I finally have the 'heart' to blog again, though it's still rather superficial, hihi. Right, so what had 'happened' to me these past 4 days of Raya? Well, I would say not much. 2009. R.I.P. (A year in retrospective)

Once again, a year is leaving us. SAD. And not, especially considering how 2009 hasn't really had been a CLOUD NINE year with 'series' of deaths and passings and deceases and demises. Nevertheless, as for the other years that had passed me by, I would like to take a moment to recount on what a year 2009 has been. Here's how it goes. To me, personally, 2009 has been a PRACTICUM year through and through. I started thinking about it the moment I stepped into semester 6 of my study, because, whether I liked it or now, I was gonna pass semester 6 relentlessly, and that oh-so-dreadful semester 7 was gonna fill in anyways. 3 months, a Convocation and a few assets after.

It has been a very long while since I last blogged. Sept 7, to be exact. When working was still a rising beeyotch and not drop-dead-ups-and-downs and minus the classes I have taught, seminars and workshops I have been to, and a few things which I have proudly bought with my own money, the money I earnestly earned from my salaries. After countless movie 'marathon' and dates with Tatie sayam and the students, the hangouts, the storytelling sessions, the blog-readings and all, I am still too numb to blog. Nevertheless, I've graduated with B.Ed. (Hons) TESL and am now looking forward to doing my Master in Linguistics. Universiti Malaya, here I come.
