Well hello again blog. *Mode:Rustic*

I have not been blogging for the past few months (not that I was an ardent blogger, mind you) and I definitely missed the time when I would get all hyped and pysched up to blog as if I'm Mr. Somebody. The reason is, work life has been quite a bitch. Okay, quite may be an understatement. Allow me to deliberate, to 'paint the picture', albeit grotesquely.

First of all, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Allah S.W.T. for giving me this opportunity to have a career, and yes, to end up as a teacher. *Cue standing ovation*. LOL. Thing is, truth be told, I used to have a knack on teaching, but not so much anymore. Despite that, I was thankful enough to have a job soon after I completed my 4-year-long studies. Of course, the door was opened, by the means of the wonderful Dr. I (whom reputation is marvellous) who introduced me to this wonderful idea of this company with THREE-LETTER WORD. An acronym, to be exact. At first, I was excited of the idea of getting a scholarship and doing internship a la Running in Heels. Little did I know, that it was a far cry.

Dwelling on the past does not make me a grumbler or a grunter; rather, it just reinforces what I have seen, tasted and experienced in hindsight - that there are more thorns that roses, anyways. I consider blogging and talking about work as a way and means to express, to vent the pent up 'energy' that I am stocking inside me, as if blowing hard into a plastic bag. Phew, it sure is rejuvenating.

Yeah so I finally have the 'heart' to blog again, though it's still rather superficial, hihi. Right, so what had 'happened' to me these past 4 days of Raya? Well, I would say not much. 2009. R.I.P. (A year in retrospective)

Once again, a year is leaving us. SAD. And not, especially considering how 2009 hasn't really had been a CLOUD NINE year with 'series' of deaths and passings and deceases and demises. Nevertheless, as for the other years that had passed me by, I would like to take a moment to recount on what a year 2009 has been. Here's how it goes. To me, personally, 2009 has been a PRACTICUM year through and through. I started thinking about it the moment I stepped into semester 6 of my study, because, whether I liked it or now, I was gonna pass semester 6 relentlessly, and that oh-so-dreadful semester 7 was gonna fill in anyways. So, with practicum being the underlying theme of the year, I decide to break the memoirs into chunks on monthly basis, to ease the recalling as well as reading them. JANUARY. Two roads diverged in a concrete jungle.

And I've finally taken the one more frequently traveled. That's right - I've finally 'veered off' the natural course of my qualification and opted for a career in customer service instead. Some people argued - why CS? I'd say, "Why NOT CS?" Unintentionally, this is the only thing close to conversing in English properly outside of teaching English that I was accustomed to. Indeed, the most heated argument would be how I would withstand the complaints, and my answer is: "I don't know". I frankly have no idea. I DO know that there's a HUGE difference between complaining as a CUSTOMER and ENTERTAINING one. Frankly speaking again, I am nervcited (nervous + excited) to venture into this field. I am nervous for all the telltales of my friends who have been CSE's for all these while. At the same time, I am excited for the opportunity to learn new things.
