Tadaima (a long overdued post)

When I finally decided to have a look at this ancient diary (or not), I couldn't help but feeling all too nostalgic over the long abandonment. Pardon me, dear chronicles. Too many life stories: of the goods, the bads and the whatnots. Is it coincidental that I decided to re-blog just as the second semester is ending, and that final exam is approaching? I'd rather think not. The only reason I'm venting here is that I couldn't vent it otherwise outside. Nor that the thought of being judged as irrational by the irrational people itself sounds ever appealing. Ah well. Worklife has been a steady bitch that tails you and wait to steal things away from yours truly. Despite it being nonchalantly a bore, a mediocre one at that, of waking up as early as 6 and commuting to and fro work without fail, working in the center feels as if I were living in a vacuum, of some kind of blackhole, where life and vigor are simply sucked out of your persona. Ain't one to dwell too meticulou...

On the floor.

Here I am, at the foodcourt in KLCC, all alone, just finished marking the essays for my newbie class. Aah, I was quite sleepy before I decided to go online. I don't really fancy the idea of carrying around a lappy, however small, or net-a-book it is. SCRATCH THAT. Looking forward to watch The Roommate alone at 2245. Tomorrow shall be yet another day. I won't lie that today I feel quite disappointed with my Grammar class due to their lack of commitment and pure laziness. I just can't help people who don't help themselves. That aside, I'll be having my second and final paper for this term on Friday. One more day! Till next time, XOXO.

Spring Cleaning.

PHEW! Just done spring-cleaning my documents in the lappy and boy, did I feel awesome! Sometimes, all it takes is organization. You know, de-cluttering your life and that sort of thing. So, it has been decided. I'm going to spring clean my negativity towards work. If I am ever sulky and moody, I will look up at the sky. YES.

Hello again after 3 months.

Hello to my rustic blog. The last time that I posted on this blog was on Jan 6th, the beginning of yet another journey in my life when I became a postgraduate student in Master of Linguistics in the University of Malaya. And now here I am again, forever baffled by the lack thereof of the lingo that is much needed for blogging. Sue me. Not much to update. Just finished my FIRST EVER final exam paper this morning and now am enjoying the bliss of not working on a working day. I had to admit that I went on yet another new experience which I couldn't really divulge here. Nevertheless, I had fun these past few days with the great company. Suffice to say that if the perseverance is strong, I shall blog again tonight, or tomorrow so to speak. Till then, signing off, watching TV, reading book, studying, TOODLES.

430.

It's early in the morning and I was woken up by the sting on my feet from the mosquito bites, only to find that SOMEHOW, I had slept enough to be awakened relatively fresh and relaxed. That's nice. It's Thursday today. 2 days (including the yet-to-end today) more to wrap up the teaching this week and looking forward to the Applied Linguistics class in Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, UM. What's on the menu for today? I'm thinking of Nasi Ayam Blok C for lunch (Yummeh! Thanx Tatie for reminding me!). I have been poorly feeding myself for lunch due to the hectic, insane tantrums thrown by the students (which I am not fond of) and now it's time to SPOONFEED the dear me. Not to mention, the uber happiness of seeing the bank account somewhat replenished again, after VERY FEW zeros and very few money. I had better treat myself indulgently today! XOXO

(Everything Happens For) A Reason.

Call me orthodox, traditional or even outdated. I still believe that everything happens for a reason. Like, when I bought the How to Teach English book by Jeremy Harmer at MYR 32, considering that there was only one copy left. I figured, there must be a reason why it was there. Also last night, when I accidentally bumped into my students in the train. Initially, I decided at a very last minute to go out to "celebrate" the dawn of New Year of 2011 when I went out at 10pm. Texted my friend and he asked me to wait for him in Pavilion. I decided, "Yeah, why not". Little did I know that by the time I went out from the pedestrian tunnel, not only that KLCC is closed to public (made it even harder for me to catwalk to Pavilion), the sea of people just suffocated me that I had to rely and cling on the students to somewhat guide me and be my knights in shining armor amidst the crazy crowd. Needless to say, by the time we reached Pavilion, it was even crazier than beyond my c...
